Roni Enten Vissoker is an Individualized Biomedical Nutritionist and is proud to have worked with special needs families around the world, providing bio-nutritional support for autism/ASD as well as clients with a variety of other conditions, for over 15 years. She offers unique expertise due to her professional roots in herbal and holistic nutrition, together with a deep knowledge of functional/biomedical nutrition.
Roni is passionate about using Individualized biomedical nutrition to support children with special needs and their families. Her personal mission is to identify and understand the underlying causes of symptoms and to help harness the immense power of food and nutrition (using specialized testing, diets and individualized nutritional protocols) to improve chronic conditions and support vitality. Roni is also a published researcher in the area of eating and gastrointestinal problems in ASD and her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. She has completed numerous trainings over the years in biomedical nutrition through the Autism Research Institute (ARI) and the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPs). In addition, she currently incorporates the main tenets of the SOS Approach to Feeding in her work with food selective children.
Credentials: She has a PhD from the University of Haifa, an MSc in Nutrition Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BSc in Nutrition from Bastyr University, in Seattle, the world’s leading academic center for natural health sciences. She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), a Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN, State of MD), a practitioner of the biomedical approach advocated by the Autism Research Institute and a level one SOS-trained therapist.
